Norman Younger BA(Hons) FCCA MCIArb- Founder and director
Our accountancy practice sales and purchase team is led by director Norman Younger who started in the profession in 1989 as a trainee and has experience in building, managing and growing accountancy practices. As well as being a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants he is a qualified mediator and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Norman is a thought leader in accountancy practice sales and a regular attendee at Accountex as well as a columnist on AccountingWeb. He delivers webinars related to buying and selling accountancy practices covering topics such as practice exit and succession strategies for retiring accountants, and how to go about buying an accountancy practice the correct way.
Norman is ideally placed to give you the best and most up to date advice allowing you to make an informed decision when selling your accountancy practice or buying accountancy fees, often one of the biggest decisions of an accountant's career.
Rafael Katz MCIArb - Lead mediator
After a number of years in teaching followed by several years in business, Rafael qualified as a Mediator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. In recent years, he has actively assisted in many mediations, bringing about successful resolutions in matters ranging from boundary disputes to professional practice dissolutions, and most memorably a poorly manufactured submarine.
Rafael’s educational experience saw him rise to the position of Chief Examiner for one of the major UK exam boards achieving this prestigious senior appointment due to his keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to clarify complex issues and present them in a user-friendly manner.
He is well respected as a public speaker who is at home to an audience of hundreds as he is to a close-knit group, and has gained an enviable reputation for the clarity of his presentations which are peppered with good natured humour and delivered in thoroughly engaging manner.
Tony Levinson AFPC - Business sales consultant
Tony has many years of experience in different financial sectors, starting out with HMRC moving into financial services and in recent years assisting small and medium sized accountancy firms with compliance including KYC and Companies House filing obligations. He has a long career in selling to accountancy firms at partner level and negotiating business transfers between the parties, bringing him a well rounded understanding of the accountancy profession covering partner, staff and client requirements and mindsets from a practical aspect.
